Privacy notice
This notice explains website analytics. Meah Ahnaf Alvi, who runs The Autonyx, is responsible for this processing. Contact ahanaf@theautonyx.com.
Your choice
Matomo helps us understand page visits, sections viewed and clicks on booking or email links. Analytics runs only after you accept. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can decline and use the site, or withdraw at any time through Privacy settings in the footer.
Data collected
After acceptance, Matomo records page paths and titles, visit times, cookie identifiers, basic browser and device information, approximate location, and section or click events. It masks the last 2 bytes of your IP address before storage and uses that masked address for location lookup. These records may still be personal data.
Page query strings and fragments are removed. Referrers are reduced to their domain. Email addresses are not included in click events. This site sends no User ID and uses no heatmaps or session recordings.
Service provider
InnoCraft Ltd in New Zealand provides Matomo Cloud as our analytics processor. Its data processing agreement lists subprocessors and describes international transfers, including the EU adequacy decision for New Zealand.
Retention
Matomo automatically deletes detailed analytics records older than 90 days on its scheduled cleanup runs. Aggregated reports are kept.
Cookies
After you choose, a necessary first-party cookie named analytics_choice remembers acceptance or decline for 90 days. If the choice expires or cannot be saved, analytics stays off. After acceptance, Matomo visitor and referral cookies last up to 90 days; its session cookie lasts 30 minutes. Privacy settings withdraws consent and removes the visit cookies.
Matomo opt-out
You can also use the control below. Show opt-out loads the Matomo scripts needed to display it. Showing the control does not grant analytics consent. Opting out withdraws an accepted choice; opting back in still requires Accept on the analytics banner.
Your rights
Contact the email above to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or to object to processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that happened beforehand. You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including one in your EU or EEA place of residence or work.
